My friends. Hinge repair is a must for every computer technician if he runs his ovn company and has his ovn shop online and in real world. There is too much opportunities to make money from it that is is just ridiculous to not able to do it. There is couple of places where hinges can be soldered ansd also there is a few places where special glues must be used. I use . I am using special glue made from a few components that I found in online forums. They also used it to glue laptop plastics and even to glue in a nuts that are on the laptop lids. I am using special mix of NaCL and Superglue. The formula is 50 percent Siper Glue and 50 percent NaCL. The aaplyng technique is that we crushing the crystals and after add the glue there is approx 3 minutes to complete place the parts and glue them. The glue is very strong actually it is stronger than anything I came across. May be it is not so strong as special glues mixed for plastics but the price is very good and it is almost always near to you.

So Wat I do when the Plastic lid is broken and the hinges come off the places and the nuts that aare on the bushes also come off. First of all it needs to investigater is it worth to  try to use bushes that left and glue the nuts on the top or make a bush from the glue mass and place the nuts on the top. I personally like to leave the bushes as  and just cover them with glue and attach the nut on the top. And uaually they glued so strong that if you want to remove the nut it would be not so easy.

I used this technique on amny laptops and on hinges, on lid plastics even for foming profiles in a completely  broken laptop. That laptop had a parts of its corners fallen out all the plastics where hinges attachs to the base was fallen out.

Also this technique I am using for Macs laptops as theyr lid plastic is fragile and often the nuts come off the bushes.
