Computer hardware is computer parts made from electronic components and necessary for computer’s operations.
A Motherboard is the main computer component that enables computer’s functioning. It connects the rest of the parts: a CPU, a RAM, disk drives. The CPU or a central processing unit is the brain of the computer. It performs operations at the speed of the clock. The Chip Set is like a helper, which helps for the CPU to communicate with all other parts of the computer. The RAM is a computer memory. The CPU deals with the memory while executing a command. BIOS basic Input Output System is the program that tells the CPU how to act with all the computer’s components. You see how it works just after the power on computer. The Data Bus is data roads, which connect the CPU, the RAM and all other components.
Power supply is the power source of the computer. It converts AC to DC Current.
Optical media devices (Known as DVD drives as well.) DVD drive is in every modern desktop or laptop computer.
Other removable media include: a Floppy disk, a Iomega Zip Drive, a USB Flash drive, a Tape Drive.
Data storage A Hard Disk is the main unit, which holds all the data, when computer is off.
