Surface Mounted Device (SMD). I will do it with a hot air gun Wagner. This air gun, the cheapest choice on eBay, is of a very good quality. It has two heat settings. We will only use the first heat setting. We also need to use tweezers to grab the component from the printed circuit board (PCB). If there are no tweezers, almost anything that may move the component will suit.

First of all, we preheat the whole motherboard a little. It is done to prevent a thermal shock to other components. To follow the proper procedure, the bottom of the motherboard should be heated up to 150 degree Celsius. But, as we do it at home, the procedure can be completed only with a hot air gun.
Here, it is possible to learn more about the proper method. Moreover, even NASA Mars rovers have electronics assembled with this method using the hot air gun. This fact speaks for its quality.
To start, set the heating to the lowest setting. Take something, which is suitable for moving the component. After moving it, we will desolder it from the soldering point. Direct the hot air gun to the SMD and wait for about 30 seconds. It depends on the heat that produces the hot air gun and the distance from SMD for how long you will have to wait. When the solder reaches the necessary temperature we can move the component off. So now we grab it with tweezers or move it off.
Soldering in can also be done this way with hot air gun, but I prefer soldering everything in with a soldering iron.
