higher-level computer programs to interact with a hardware device. Laptop drivers usually come with laptop computer. Each laptop manufacturer has
a way by which it is supplied to the customer. Laptop drivers can be on a CD or DVD that is bundled with the laptop. Drivers also can be found on
manufacturers’ sites. Usually, all laptop manufacturers publish their necessary drivers on their support webpages. Drivers are only hard to find
when there are no driver versions for particular operating system or when the operating system is newer than the operating system laptop comes
preinstalled with.
The necessary drivers for laptop can be found using the laptop model. For example, if the model is Toshiba Tecra M3, you could go to the
Toshiba site, then to support, select this model and all the official drivers will be available instantly.
The laptop model number can be found it two places. Sometimes manufacturers print it on a panel near the keyboard such as shown in the picture

If necessary drivers cannot be found on the laptop manufacturer’s website, then another way to get them is to look at the device

it is the model GeForce Go 6600. So, I can go to the NVidia website and look for drivers.

This can also be found on the laptop manufacturer’s site or the audio device manufacturer’s site. They are usually integrated in the laptop's
chipset driver package or can be downloaded from the manufacturer’s website if something isn’t working properly.

necessary to install drivers for a media card reader or a Bluetooth device. All other hardware such as hard disks, monitors, DVDs, etc. will work
with the drivers provided by the operating system.
